OUR AUTHORITY AND TEACHING COMES FROM THE BIBLE.
The Bible is God’s revelation and the supreme authority in our lives. It is practical, powerful, and perfect. The Bible tells us where we come from, our purpose, and where we are going. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12-13)
God the Father is eternal, powerful, and perfect, making no mistakes and doing no wrong. He is always just and He is always loving. God never changes. (Psalm 18:30, Isaiah 14:27, Malachi 3:6, 1 John 4:8)
Jesus is the chosen one to rescue, forgive and save people from the punishment of sin, hell. Jesus is eternal and perfect. Jesus is God. (Matthew 16:16, John 1:1-2)
Humanity by nature is not good. Our sin separates us from God. We need God to rescue us from death, the consequence of sin. (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23) Jesus died and shed His blood on the cross so that we might be saved from hell, the punishment for our sins. (Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8)
Jesus' resurrection from the dead demonstrates His absolute power to grant salvation to humanity. (1 Corinthians 15:17-19)
Eternal life is offered to you only through FAITH in Jesus' death and resurrection.
It is a FREE GIFT! (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Holy Spirit sanctifies and transforms the life of a believer, through living with God moment by moment, and through intentional discipleship relationships grounded in the Bible and prayer. (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
Each of these commitments require intentionality. Being a Christian requires intentionality.
